I'm fully aware that this belt isn't right for my outfit today — I just couldn't put off wearing it any longer and I couldn't find a better top in my closet this morning (bought this top at Gap for 75% off back in the fall). Ideally I'll wear this with a white tunic-style top (like the one Maegan's wearing here or an oversized button-up like she's wearing here — but not in animal print - ha.)
I picked up this "Extrovert" Italian belt at the LaVista Road (i.e. Northlake) Goodwill in Tucker last weekend when I was out shopping for my good friend Mb's birthday. (I'll post her birthday goodies later this week). I really lucked out on this trip, as I didn't notice the genuine leather belt hanging behind the counter — but the woman in front of me did. As she was trying it on, the cashier proclaimed it was half off today... and would ring up for $2.16.
Fortunately for me, it was too small for the lady ahead of me in line — so I snagged it. I love the gold buckle and the triangle-shaped buckles on the sides. And for $2.16!!! Let's not forget that part.
I'm sure you'll be seeing this belt make an appearance again soon. :)

Oooo I love this belt! So fun. Yay for thrifty shopping.
Love it! I'm ready to become friends in the real world so I can start borrowing your clothes - hee hee. Just kidding (well, sort of)!
Thanks, Mb!
PLT — don't kid — we may have to make that happen! We could snag SuperDave and grab some lunch! :) Or we could have a Goodwill shopping extravaganza... muhahaha!
I'm totally in. Just found this great grass green vintage Saks Fifth Avenue dress at the Goodwill off Roswell last week when I popped in before my hair cut. Ever since then I've been jonsing for some GW trips!
OOooh! I think we could map out all the GWs in a 10-mile radius and set ourselves up for a pretty sweet treasure hunt! Then blog about it.
That belt is really beautiful.! I too got a similar designed purple top from Gap.
