Craig's List hair stylist claims another... happy customer, that is. Megan went to see my favorite stylist, Mary Verrilli, for the first time yesterday. And she came out looking like this. Foxy!
A-plus work, Mary! Megan plans to go see Mary again when she's due for her next trim. (Megan, leave your thoughts about your experience in the comments section — I want to hear more!)
As for me, I am WAY overdue to see Mary. Being unemployed = feeling a need to stretch out the time between haircut visits.

As yes, Mary is transitioning me into bangs. Why? Because she knew I'm like the frog, you can't throw me into the boiling water. You have to start in regular water and slowly turn the head up.(HA)
Seriously, Mary really listened to me, and knew exactly what kind of do would work with me (my texture of hair,face shape, lifestyle, profession, personality,).
Being one that can hardly successfully brush my hair, Mary gave me great 'how-to's' while she styled my hair.
I have no hopes of having it look as good as when she styled it, but with her tips I'm getting there.
Oh did I mention that she is so easy to get along with, makes you feel at ease immediately. She is good people.
As usual, Katy found a keeper!
Oh, sorry! I forgot to mention the bangs transition. The semi-bangs look fabulous — and I'm sure more full bangs will, too.

She looks great! I love the swing-y-ness of the cut, and the long bangs look very sleek. How much does Mary charge, you lovely ladies?
Mary's haircuts are $45, color touch-ups are $55 and highlights/foils are $75. She always gives 10% off your first visit.

Mary really is fabulous. Nicest, most client-centric hair stylist I've ever met. She's awesome awesome awesome at colors and cuts (I was there yesterday). :)
Whoops. Forgot to mention that pricing includes wash, blow dry and style (I usually get mine flat ironed). :)
I agree wholeheartedly! Mary gave me the BEST color/cut/highlight I've ever had. It's been a long time since I've liked my hair and it's so nice to like everything a stylist does. She really listens to what you have to say and loves what she does. A true gem.
